Why Increase Nitrogen Level s in Tires?

Air is made of roughly 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other gasses. During the nitrogen tire fill process, your tires are bled and refilled with a high level of nitrogen. There are several benefits to increasing the amount of nitrogen in tires:

• Retain Tire Pressure Longer: Nitrogen reduces tire pressure loss by 1/3 compared to air-filled tires. This can be helpful for motorists who forget to check tire psi levels regularly, although it's important to note that nitrogen levels should still be checked; they just give you a little more time than air-filled tires. 
• Get Consistent Tire Pressure: For racing and track drivers, consistency is important. Nitrogen tires excel at high performance events due to the lack of moisture.
• Reduce Risk of Corrosion: Because nitrogen doesn't support moisture, it reduces the risk of corrosion in steel sidewalls, beads, and other components. While atmospheric pressure will still push oxygen and moisture into the rubber of your tires, having nitrogen can be useful if you don't drive often.
